Carol, I wanted to provide you with feedback on the recognition pieces that we discussed in October. First, your support of my sense of urgency (surprise! gotta get this done!) was extremely helpful. I finished the day with the sense that the pieces would delivered, and I would be pleased with them.

Second, the pieces exceeded my expectations. As someone who worked for a large multinational consulting company that regularly purchased $300 items as recognition gifts, I already had a mental model of what was being purchased and how it might look. I have to say that what I received was outstanding, carefully packed, and arrived in plenty of time to alleviate any further stresses.

Third, the pieces exceeded my supervisors' expectations. When they saw the quality and the care that went into creating the awards, they commented several times on how much they appreciated the job I had done to get these finished. I pointed out that I was working with an outstanding company that made sure the pieces were perfect. When they realized that gloves to handle and polish the awards were included in each box, they were surprised again by the 'total' effort and care that went into these reasonably-priced recognition awards.

I will definitely be back next year, with a lot less stress, to select awards for the next conference. Your time, patience with me as I freaked out, and professionalism really did 'save the day'.
